Tallatoona Community Action Partnership with the government established federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) may be able to assist qualifying low-income seniors with heating bills. Grants from LIHEAP can be spent for new heating services, to pay for fuel delivery, and to prevent the disconnection of utility services. Please call 770-817-4666 for an appointment during the energy assistance program year.

(Not that all funds are paid out, and appointments are scheduled on a first come, first served basis, and setting an appointment is not a guarantee of acceptance into the program. All assistance is dependent upon availability of state of Georgia and federal government funding.)
